Poetry: For when words paint the picture
A Railway Carriage
Staring out from a railway carriage at patterns in shapes of distant mountains.
Patterns above in the clouds and trees.
Patterns in the grass greened valleys.
Winter colours
Three women in a room.
Three shades of Beige and Black.
It is winter in an European land.
That time of year
Getting ready for winter’s coming.
Final songs of reds and gold.
A warm farewell before the parting,
because soon there will be snow…
A call to bravery
Standing on the brink.
What lies ahead unknown.
Looking at the past with questions
The whys and hows, unanswered
The bunking housewife
At home and it’s all quiet. It’s just me here for today and tonight…
In the best of times
In the world of my memories India lives on.
Friends and Family, lived in spaces..
For now it is Herbst
I saw the light, I saw the air, falling softly in golden bands.
It was a sunset in Herbst and the sky echoed the colours of Earth…
